Book Four in the Misty Lake Series is coming along nicely, but it’s lacking in one important area and I’m hoping one of you will help me out.
IT NEEDS A TITLE!!
Here’s a brief synopsis without giving too much away… Book Four tells Shauna’s story. As we learned in Misty Lake in Focus, Shauna has varied interests, one being yoga. She dipped her toes into the world of teaching towards the end of Misty Lake in Focus. When we return to Misty Lake, Shauna is busy with her job at First National Bank and with teaching several yoga classes in the school gymnasium. Word is spreading and she’s gaining more students every week. She’s happy, but not satisfied with the current arrangement. In true Shauna fashion, she has a plan.
Cort Mackenzie turns up in Misty Lake, unknown, and apparently with plans of his own. The rich, handsome stranger soon clashes with Shauna, and Shauna finds herself on the losing end of their battle of wills.
Devastated and angry, Shauna decides it’s time for a change and time to put her college degree in Art History to work. Her desire to put as much distance as possible between herself and Misty Lake (and her new enemy, Cort Mackenzie), takes her to New York City for an interview with a museum.
Will Shauna be the first McCabe to leave Misty Lake or will her ties to her town and family prove too strong?
Hopefully you’re intrigued, and hopefully you have some amazing ideas for me!
Here are the details: *Submit up to five title ideas by emailing me at mcstandafer@gmail.com no later than April 15, 2017. Don’t worry about emailing me more than once if you happen to come up with another great idea after already sending in a suggestion or two, I love hearing from readers!
*The title needs to include 'Misty Lake.'
*The contest is open to my newsletter subscribers and my Facebook followers.
*The winner will receive a signed paperback copy of the book upon its release and will be recognized with a thank you (first name and last initial) in the book. Of course, if you’d prefer I didn’t put your name in the book, that’s fine, just let me know.
In the event more than one person submits the same title and it’s the title I choose, I will recruit someone to help with a random drawing for a winner. I’ll keep it fair :)
I hope you’ll participate because I'm stumped as to a title for this one. I’m looking forward to reading your suggestions.
